It's come stock with Dimarzio D-Activators. Definitely going to give them a try out for a bit. So far I like them, nice and clear clean and distorted.

Awesome!

And I'll say it was a pleasure meeting you and your bride today.

Great people indeed!

Hope it serves you well my friend.

Been playing the crap out of that thing through my Microcube into a set of Sennheiser 202 headphones. The only thing I'll be changing on this guitar will be the strings. And even those are fine for now

Here's a sound clip for anyone interested. This was recorded in the small room out in Buckeye with the guitar going through the Keeley pedals into a Behringer 2x12 combo

I've got the black one, love it. I love the Wizard II neck or whatever is on this series, I've got the V and two XPT700's now.

Re: NGD, something pointy

They are sweet axes. I got it primarily because I wanted at least one neck through guitar and the price was quite reasonable. I'm sort of surprised at how much I like the D-Activator pickups. Normally I go with Duncans and if I ever got the itch to change, this would be the guitar that I would put a set of Black Winters, or better, White Winters, into. But I find the D-Activators to give a phenomenal clean tone. Tons of top without being shrill, present mids without being too gooey, and a nice tight bottom. When you put gain to them, they can go from 80's hair metal to full on brutal, once again without mudding out or loosing definition. I'm not even temped to change the magnets in them, a first for me I might add.
