This ones like japan while you other green one is more soviet russia.

The maple is perfect i thought the roasting would have made it darker. My only gripe is no matching headstock or custom snake logo.:laughing:

I would love a custom snake logo. Warmoth does not sell the metalized logos anymore so the headstock feels naked to me too. I should find someone who makes some decent quality metalized decals for sure.

ohhh i have ideas haha. Thiose rings work so well on lp's too i don't think direct mount would have worked at all/

Hello again! We both seem to be on wog time brother.

I think some sort of emblem made from roasted maple or the body wood. inlays or a graphic logo. It would be worth looking into it because it looks exceptional.

Well the long awaited NGD is here. I first envisioned this guitar years ago and finally was able to place the order back in April. After many months of waiting the body arrived a few weeks back and the neck arrived on Friday. I have it all assembled and in case you missed it I had a thread about the progress from the parts arriving here.

I have been a big fan of the Gibson LP Voodoo, swamp ash series and even the Raw Power series (all maple LP's and SG's) for a long time now so I wanted to piece together a little something based on those ideas. The end result is fantastic, I really couldn't be happier with this guitar! I will hopefully find some time to record and post some clips in the near future.

The specs: swamp ash solid body, Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers set, push/push volume pots for coil splits, Warmoth roasted maple Regal 24.75" conversion neck, stainless steel 6100 frets, 59 roundback profile, 10-16" compound radius.

Ok, here's some photos. The light was a bit unfavorable this morning so this is the best I've got for now:

Dude, that is gorgeous! Love the color combo of the blue with the roasted maple! And that's awesome that you used the Swamp Ash and Raw Power Les Pauls as your inspiration for this build. Turned out amazing! :yourock:

I'm a fan of all the same Gibby Series you mentioned. That came out awesome and love the Woods, Color, Black Hardware and Maple Board Neck!!! Very well done.

I have a cousin in MN who has this Strat. It's an awesome guitar but yeah I would love to find someone who does laser engraving work like that around here!
