To the left, a Memphis Strat I bought for the equivalent of $15!
It was found by a cleaning lady at my mom's apartment, in the parking lot alongside some garbage. Rusty, but the electronics worked. Polished and cleaned everything I could, dropped some new strings and it's working nicely! Sounds like a guitar I guess, mushy and not much of a sweet top-end whatsoever, your regular cheap ceramics in a pancake guitar body I guess, but it doesn't really matter.
It's surprisingly slinky tuned to E with 11-50s, but I measured and it's got a Fender scale length so no clue. The frets are shot and uneven but no way I'm taking it to a tech. I might give it away or something, but it reminds me of my first guitar ever, which was stolen (90s Epiphone S210) so who knows.
To the right, a Mixed Blood Fender!
Fender MIM neck from a 60s Classic Series (7.25" radius and way thicker than a regular MIM neck), Allparts Alder body, so it's American/Mexican with a Japanese Gotoh trem to confuse things even further.
I've had it for years but not in this latest incarnation with a Fender neck, which I bought recently.
Just came from my tech who redid the frets and nut slots, sat the neck properly and man does it sing now! Tons of sustain and a beautiful, detailed tone I can't get enough of. The tuning stability improved massively from the old neck it used to have, so now it's truly ready for just about anything. I couldn't be any happier, this is easily my most expensive guitar and as it is now, justifiably the best one as well.
