The week before Christmas I went to work for a Pawn Shop Chain I worked for over 10 years ago. I am training in one store but going back to the original store I worked in and spent a couple days there last week. In the overstock rack in the back in the unheated ware house I found this guitar in a pile of junk and walked out with it for get this $37.50!!

It's a Takamine EG541SC and was a nasty mess but cleaned up and set up quite nicely. What i want to know is who had thrown it on a trash heap and forgotten it???

Surprisingly good as it turned out it was a solid spruce top + has a really nice pickup system.
Pretty much this same guitar except for mine has abalone dot inlays instead of the blocks.
Same pickup/preamp system also.

I was hoping for another washburn shredstick not this dinosaur stringer goolash.

Sold a MIJ Charvette for $75 earlier that day I found in the same pile or it would also have gone home with me.
don't know for sure what is lurking in the back in that store so stay tuned :fingersx:
