Seems for the stuff I'm doing now I consistently can use a nylon string electric. In particular we have a Christmas eve service at my Church that I will really make some use of this thing in this year. I'm doing all the arrangements this year and was going to be doing some of the classical fingerstyle Christmas stuff on steel string now i will pull it off on this thing! Finding this one that cheap right now is a real godsend!
Owned one of these cheap Ibanez nylon cutaway several years ago that I really liked but had sold it to another guitarist at church. I started looking around for another one and found this factory 2nd on the bay for $175. Got just some minor finish flaws and all i can find are a couple stains on the finger board.
Ibanez AEG10NE with the Fishman/Ibanez pickup system that you just plug a mic cable into and run direct. GREAT player it's just OK unplugged but is simply a FANTASTIC sounding guitar run direct through the system!

Thanks guys. i just was over at the Church and ran her through the system for the first time. This one is the next generation of the other one I had with an updated preamp. When I plugged this one in it flat floored me as this thing flat KILLS amplified!! MUCH better tones through a PA than my last one and this onbe you have a XLR out so you just snap a mic cord in and don't even need to run a direct box. I plugged in had everything flat on the guitar on board EQ and out of the gate got killer tone WOW! With what I am doing right now this looks like of the best gear purchases I have made in a long time (up there with the PRS and Zinky!). We will see for sure how it works out when I get it in a full band situation over the weekend but I'm stoked over what I hear so far!
