That's a nice LP. The pickups they put in them are much better than they were 20 years ago. Speaking from experience.
I put Ernie Ball 10-48 strings on my Gibson LP Trad Pro recently and really like the feel. I did have 11-48 but I bend a lot when I play so I needed a little more "slinky" so to speak.
What's the neck profile like on that one?
