That's the kind of guitar that could be your one-and-only, and really be some kind of personal statement.

It also cost about 4 times what my entire rig (2 guitars, amp, and pedalboard) is worth.

That's a bare bones rocker for sure. I'd be tempted to go the Esquire route with it and wire in a three way switch.

1. Bypass the tone pot
2. Normal
3. Fixed cap value for a deep neck-PUP type tone

8K is way too much for that, though...I'd go with Warmoth and have the same thing for way less

+1. A black Std with twin soap bars, that would be very cool (some of us just can't get past that gaudy gold color; it's never sold well in any model). Even at $1,000, that gold single soap bar wouldn't sell many units.

You take away the neck pickup = price goes up by 2 thousand

You take away 2 volume knobs = price goes up by 2 thousand more.

You take away the tunomatic bridge = 2 more thousand.

Hmmmm did i miss something? Come on!!! My custom made 9lbs heritage will own this crap.
