my apologies. just went through dmz's website. no dogear p90s.
seems like there's a need to fill the gap for more dogear p90s, both true singles and noiseless. it will be great if the regular duncan production line p90s are designed to swap between both soapbar and dogear covers.
The only thing that comes to mind is the Duncan Antiquity P-90 with the dog ear cover. I've seen it for $91 on music123. That's about as good as it gets, unless you custom order one with a dog ear cover.
yes it is a true single which is not humbucking and the neck is rwrp. our forum bro is looking for a production noiseless p90 with a dogear cover. that pretty much ruled the ants p90 out.
krameree, maybe you can give the sd custom shop a call if you can order a shop floor custom stack p90 with dogear covers instead of the soapbar covers. it may not cost as much as you think.
cheers guys, now come on Seymour Duncan!!!!!! This is an obvious gap in the market and there must be demand for a standard production dogear P90 that sounds like a P90 but doesnt buzz like crazy.
OK---you can take a P100 or a Duncan Stack bobbin and magnets and mount them on a Gibson or similar dogear base. Just check the bottom taps to check that they line up and you may have to resolder the leads to the base connector...
