Nomad "grip winder"

Re: Nomad "grip winder"

All my guitars don't reside with me
But I do have visitation on the weekends and holidays

Some, the courts say, I can only have supervised visitation with
That durned little kid in the GC shirt keeps standing there
Demanding I turn it down, can you believe it?
It's my guitar, just because I haven't paid for it. REALLY

Re: Nomad "grip winder"

I'm blown away by how people are so opposed to something cool. It's fine if you don't want one, but there is this "analog vs digital" debate going on here, and it's both sad and hilarious.

I'll bet 500 quatloos that ANY PERSON who used this, regardless of your pre-conceived notions, would immediately fall in love. Got lots of quatloos, I'll bet cha!

Re: Nomad "grip winder"

I think that's the same one as Mincer mentioned that was the runner-up. Looks like it does basses too too? That was what put this over the top. F M, winding basses when restringing is a MAJOR pita.

I'd take that bet, but I'm fresh out of quatloos!

Actually, I'm not against it in any way. If I was in the market for a new string winder I'd consider it.

But I already have two... one of which I'm quite satisfied with. If it ain't broke...
