Not That Often A New Pedal Comes Out That I Want

But as I was checking out the new Sweetwater, I saw an EH Multi pedal that actually has me interested. Don't get me wrong, I doubt I run out and buy a new one. I'm too cheap for that. I'll just wait a few months until some start hitting the used market for half price or less.

Anyone played one yet? What did you think? Does each effect live up to the stand alone unit?

What's weird is the distortion may sound good through the front but could you send the delay or chorus through the amp's loop?

That distortion sounds like crap.

I like the combo analog pedal idea alot! just as long as you really dig those pedalz tho, that is the thingamajig...

That's weird that they used the Metal Muff, it's not a very versatile distortion. They could have just thrown in a muff with the tone wicker. Also not sure how good the muff sounds with chorus. I'm sure the delay a chorus will sound great.

Re: Not That Often A New Pedal Comes Out That I Want

I use to only run EHX pedals on my board. The logic was that EHX offers a lot of pedal for the money, and some really interesting out of the box features.

I then learned that sometimes, you want to really cherry pick the best offerings from different companies. Outside of the Muff, and maybe the Holy Grail, there isn't much from EHX that I consider to be outstanding to the level where I would keep it on my board.

I'm somewhat skeptical of this pedal. Seems like a lot to promise.

I think I like the idea more than the actual pedals they are using. A perfect version would be a 4 banger. The old green Muff, small stone, grail verb and memory boy.
