NPD: $16 Multi Effects Unit hehe

Zoom 707 Multi effects. Know nothing about it other than it has a decent looper on it which is all I wanted for my recordings. According to the seller it does a great job of getting the "brown sound." :nervous:

I still have my old zoom 505, though it never gets used anymore. It certainly was not capable of copping any good tones (except for the cleans), certainly not anything resembling a brown sound.

Hope you have better luck with your 707!

I'm pretty sure Trent Reznor used those and earlier incarnations for some of the really gnarly Super Nintendo / Sega Master System guitar tones from the early albums.

Be careful with them. I had a Sega Dreamcast that handled being stomped on better than those things do.

I have one of the bass versions, and they're not terrible. Fun for funky sounds you can't get without spending a ton more money.
