NPD - Bling bling

I played it a bit tonight no big thing. No holy grail of tone. It is not the pick of destiny. Plus, I know I was holding back on my playing as to not scratch my guitar. Once I switched picks I had a great practice.

As intended it will be a piece of jewelry.

Ha, that's interesting feedback. I always read about Phil Collen from Def Leppard using metal picks, ultra heavy gauge strings, and having baseball bat necks on his guitars because it all helps the tone. So manly, along with his shirtless look :p I think it's all smoke and mirrors - I just got rid of my Jackson PC-1 and didn't think the neck was any thicker than other guitars I've owned over the years. (Not hating on Phil at all BTW, I love the guy!)

When I bought the pick the intention right off was to put it on a chain. I had no desire to play with it. About 15 years ago I bought this pick made out of a US Half Dollar coin. I could never gel with it and did not dig the tone. I tried it with guitar and bass and it was a no-go. For that reason, I knew the silver pick was not going to be a player. However, I did have to give it a couple of rips on the guitar before putting it on the chain.

The thing looks like a beast for sure. Just what I would want, for bass or guitar.
