Re: NPD: Boss BD-2 Blues Driver

Thanks for saying this. I've recently rediscovered my OD-3 but somehow feel like I need something like a blues driver or OCD.

You'd might as well have all three.

I stack with two ODs.

Re: NPD: Boss BD-2 Blues Driver

Last week when gigging (St Patrick's day!!!) I pulled out my old bluesdriver as I needed to make up a smaller board, and whilst I tend to use other stuff I thought I would give it a go. Played it with my Laney Lionheart amp for the first time and... WOW!! Sounded incredible.

I think this is now going onto the main board.

Everyone likes these, yet I haven't ever managed to play one.

Oh really ?

I tried one when they came out in a blaze of promotion. Horrible thing, I could hear within a few seconds the lack of any musical content that might have made it in some way useful.

I don't think they made it with Titanium back then, sadly.

Maybe it's in the hands.

The first time I tried it I was blown away at how great it sounded but at the time I wasn't in the market for a pedal. I was testing out some guitars and I was using digital effects at the time. The blues driver was just there and so I used it.
