16 volts of power with buttload of low end! Low to med to hi gain.prb better then bogner red because its so smooth. I traded the Bogner Burnley in for it. I tried the Suhr Riot,Wampler Pinnacle,Rockett 10 ton. The Hi Volt sounded a bit more fuller.Dynamic Marshall type 80's gain, have to try loud but it definitely sounds better then Burnley recorded.

Looks sweet . . . but pricey! I'd love, someday, to hear for myself, the difference between a $260 OD and a $40 OD. I'm not saying it ain't there, just love to hear it in person.

I've got various ones on a board, from $40 Joyo to boutique OD's and Klones. They sound different........just that. As the circuits are different this is kinda what you expect. I'm equally happy with the money I spent on all of them.

I will post a clip in a few minutes, came out ok I guess. Just started to really play it today but not loud yet so that will be the final question. Les Paul gets kind of thick but with this pedal I only had it at 8 o clock! This demo is for high gain stuff to metal hope ya dig it or comments welcome. Using a vocal mic so its not the best I could of dropped the treble a tad maybe.

This isn't a negative comment or anything, but the sound of that pedal really reminds me of a Randall amp.

When I tried the Suhr and the Rockett they were all similar but the Hi Volt had more body and fullness. And more tone shaping knobs will see how she does loud. If you play it into a plexi style amp like Sam does on You tube you will get a different tone but he wasn't going for hi gain but sounded good. The Wampler really was a disappointment it sounded thin and bright. Thats what turned me off pedals a few years ago when I was a only plug into a amp guy. Then I tried the Bogner red and that converted me!

Pedal sounds cool. MI Audio Super Crunch Box? I recently built a byoc Chancellor, similar ballpark to your pedal. And for chump change compared to boutiques. It also doesn't have to be into a spanky clean amp, will work as a boost with a gungy amp.
