NPD: MIJ Ibanez Compressor

There are no rules to compressor labels....

I would agree Level is "level/gain" after compression is set
Attack is usually, but not always onset is fast to slow, left to right
But it seems that compression and sustain are modified together in some funky way with the threshold knob - likely nonlinear.

I'll stick with compressors that have Attack / Sustain separate.

But cool item regardless. Cheap pedal is cheap fun! I have a Modetone Lemon Squeeze that I love to use with my Tele.

How does this one sound doing light compression at unity gain, or just slightly boosting? Sometimes cranking the output can result in more compression downstream and make it sound worse than it actually is.

It's very good at being transparent if that's what you mean. I used it at rehearsal on Thursday at a very subtle setting and it was a sort of a situation where I didn't realize how good it sounded until I turned it off. It was almost like I was just playing a little better.

Well, that sounds like you found the right setting.

"Turn it on/up until you can just hear it operating, and then turn it down"
