Finally pulled the trigger on a guitar fetish factory blowout body! Got some chips and scuffs, but overall it still looks nice. It will need drilling for the trem posts, screw holes for the selector, strap buttons, and spring claw. The neck I have for it is an ibby s 370dx wizard 2 and 1 of 4 bolt holes line up. Got either a Jackson lo-pro Floyd in chrome or a Gotoh Floyd in black that will go on it, think i'm going with the black hardware. There will need to be minimal sanding on the trem cavity to make sure the trem doesn't get hung up. Probably going to hit up guitarpartsonline for the pickups. Had good luck with the last 3 pickups i got from them.

Word. I've been seeing these GF projects pop up here n there and they always turn out pretty sweet.

And yeah, I thought it was a new pickguard day. :D

Re: npgd

:P think I'm going to get the drilling and doweling done tomorrow, so all I need to do is get the pickups chosen. Deciding whether to go active or passive on this.

Re: npgd

Got the trem posts and spring claw drilled. Couldn't find the right drill bit, so its like 1/16" too much. I thought I was going to have to use just the posts' but I took a chance and drilled for the bushings. Had a time with doing the spring claw. Drilled a little high, then drilled lower, got one right, had to drill twice to get the second right.....the next challenge is getting the volume pot drilled. My first adventure with a carved top, but I got the hard part done!
