great musicianship on that cover dem dare, vox really shine, acoustic sounds are missing sustain somewhere in the chain as you noted but the playing/musicianship is fine, I always dig the aic

thanks...the more i listen to the guitar part on it...the more i dislike it...lol...but i think the vocals are decent!? i gotta get some proper recording stuff one of these days instead of recording guitar and vocals on one track into the built in laptop mic!

i like your vox
it's a tough song to play and sing IMO, i found getting the on/off 3rd fret 2nd string in time with the D to E on the 4th string difficult

thanks man...i know the playing is a mere shadow of what Cantrell played/plays...i simplified everything as much as possible (which is good for me.lol) i love all the stuff he does in that song!

i was focusing on the emotion of the vocals...i may try to redo the playing at some point!?

Man , your voice really fit's the song like my Asics nimbus fits my feet.
I think ,2 different mics would be cool and bring the guitar "closer" !
The feeling, expression, controle, everything perfect!
I like it!

I like it, as said above, the mix could use a little work.....little less lower mids on the acoustic, lower in the mix. vocals are a little peaky? good job on the vocals!!

Same as everyone else: The guitar is lacking in terms of sustain and consistency, but the vocals are just fantastic. I'd love to hear more AIC from you, Mike!

Great feeling in the vocal delivery. Kudos to you for the "live" style recording. It's hard enough to record a flawless guitar part, let alone try and sing on top of it in a single take.

I hear much of what the others have... mix needs work, but I understand it's a computer mic and one take... not much can be done about it. The guitar was a bit inconsistent, but I feel like the vocals helped make up for that. Great job on the vocals.
