NWD... Plextortion!

I ordered my plextortion which should be here tomorrow or Wednesday... Who else is using these ?

Just from demos I can tell its goanna be a thick heavy distortion which Is exactly what I'm looking for right now to take over the Hardwire Valve distortion spot on my board. Being a Wampler artist I have had many of their pedals and always am impressed and LOVED the plexidrive and stupidly had to get rid of it due to needing cash at the time. Could not be more excited for this Plextortion and the best part is I know it will be amazing quality and won't break down on me. I had the plexidrive for years and lent it out to some heavy stompers and it never had any issues over the years.

Only question now is do I stack it with my SFT or just use it on its own I will post my thoughts on it soon in this thread !

I had one for a year or so..great 800 IAB pedal. Never got along with my Tele, but 335 and strat loved it.

Its VERY finnicky to EQ, but when right is pretty impressive. I have some clips on my soundcloud page. I think its soundcloud.com/jbash-1

One is the 2203GB 335 clip..have one with the KWS strat too..not sure what else...most clips have descriptions..

I checked it out and sounded very throaty... I dig that even though you play a totally different style from me I can really get into that clip

Yeah..throaty...high mids...el84 class5 and v30, + plextortion = definitely throaty.

It can do much different sounds though. Scoopy power metal, razor leads. Tons of adjustment through the mid (more like a "contour") control, and presence boost.
