to me the BT sets DO feel better balanced string to string. compared to most other brands. Standard XL strings , especially the low e and B feel like rubber bands flopping around. and the high E and D are.stiff. compare them to slinkys or dean markley, ghs, etc in same gauge back to back and you can feel the loosey goosey on standard dad XL sets.

may be different on a 6 in line, but 3x3 it's very apparent if you are using/trying other brand strings and not playing Dads exclusively.

An update on my experiment with the EB Cobalts.

After a week of playing for about an hour each day, I broke the high E of the 10-62 set on my seven string. I liked the strings up until then, but they seem to carry the same tradition of EB strings breaking quickly for me. Don sent me a 11-49 set of Daddario NYXL's that I will trying on this guitar and I will be ordering a new set of the same Dunlops I've been using for years as well.
