I didn't know I was looking for another guitar...
I didn't even know I wanted another guitar...
And then I saw this little beauty here in the trading post and I knew she would be mine.... "Oh yes, she will be mine"

Got this from Ver who I'll add is an outstanding guy and it was a pleasure doing business with!

it's a low mileage ’21 Dean Select ML in ocean burst
this sexy beast has a lot of things that I really love in a guitar:
1. It's blue 2. Mahogany
3. Maple neck
4. Ebony board
5. String thru
6. Full binding
7. Quilt top with matching headstock
8. Dean's are great!
9. The back of the neck is satin finished and it's really slick!

So far I have:
glued in straploks
filed the bridge a touch to keep my pick-hand from moving the 6th string off.
Traction knob by soldering iron
Recessed the pots so the knobs don't sit so high.
Changed strings and tuned C#
Widened the nut just a touch

I've got a brand new TB6 sitting here that I ordered for it... I am giving the custom a fair trial before I swap them.

It's flat and beautiful and plays well. I'm really happy with it so far.

I installed a brand new SH-6 last night, sounds a lot better to me and my set up.

Noice!!!! Great color.
My ML has a pair of Super Distortions from the factory. 2013 Chicago Standard Series. I wired the neck in parallel to clean it up some. Sounds awesome.

Well I just got back from rehearsal with this Dean.
it actually sounded so good in our band mix!
The Distortion was the perfect choice, it is harmonically rich and feeds back perfectly. I does exactly what I want it to do.

I'm so pleased with it right now, it may have taken the place of my Les Paul's for the next gig.... I may be taking explorers and this Dean!
