Mincer Administrator Staff member Apr 7, 2019 #2 Re: Oil Gibson push/pull pot shafts ? Deoxit, or replace. No oil.

F formula73 INTENSELY corrosive sweat Apr 10, 2019 #9 Re: Oil Gibson push/pull pot shafts ? They generally use a type of thick grease that won’t harm the plastic internals. Don’t add a thinner hydrocarbon or you’ll have a gooey mess in there.

Click to expand... Yes. With the Gibson PCB pots the opening is at the bottom, next to impossible to get to. The tone pots & volume pots are 2 different types. I could feel the action of the pots loosen up a bit after i used it. Its a 2012 model but still very new.
