i recorded it with a good wuality this way
through the old CRATE GX 80 amp, microfone with some CHEAP copy of sure sm58 and Boss Metalzone
through my Charvel Fusion Deluxe
and my Charvel Fusion

Crate eq. Bass on 4, middles in 5, highs on 6!
clean channel.
Boss metalzone - distortion on 6.

NOW, THE CLEAN SAMPLES OF THE CC/HR need a improvement, ehehehe i decreased the volume of the mic and the recording ended not so loud.. so, i need someone to Raise the output for me, i don´t have the proper software to deal with this.

PS - My solos are the worst i ever played. don´t know what´s happening. Maybe i´m PLaying Too much rhytm with the right hand and forgetting scales and etc. WHO KNOWS ahahaha!!??!

The quality is way better. I dont find the CC's bottom end as loose as people make it seem.

Great clips WFD!!!! Overall, the bass in the cc clip sounded tigher than i expected. and the EMG clip, it doesnt sound sterel(sp?) to me at all. I actually liked the tone in the EMG clip better.

Currently listening to the EMG clip. The 81 sounds really Hi-Fi to me, but has a good metal tone, and is super articulate and crunchy. The 85 sounds very articulate as well, but too thick/bassy for me.

Now the CC/HR clip...I'm anxious to hear this.

The bass does seem looser, but not spongy like I've heard. Very very thick tone, but that could also be the downtuning. The tone sounds more 3D than the EMG's to me, and I like it better. Also, what's the more melodic rock riff you played in the middle of the clips?

The Hot Rails: less thick and bassy than the 85, I like this. Could be a little more articulate, but the tapping sounded really good on it. This will definately go in my neck spot if I ever get an HSS guitar.

i guess i tested the G and D strings with the Twillight odyssey riff.
it fits very well there. AND It is an awesome example of a riff in that particular combination of strings/notes.
but you mean ... In the Emgs or duncan clips?!
i guess i played it in the em clip.

OK guys, i have to talk... i´m a bit disappointed with the not soo much number of comments on this soundclips.
ok, there´s no awesome riffs and there´s a lot of Sloop solos, i assume that. But... i did the clips to help people hear the pickups in a METAL situation. not to show my technique and etc.
i understand if you want to write a bad review and etc. i preffer that you download the riffs and give me a bad review than download it and don´t post anything.
Now that i said what i wanted, i´m not upset or something like that, just a little disappointed ... so, said that, you don´t have the obligation to come here and post something just because i was disappointed and etc. and... don´t get me wrong, i just wanted to say that. i´m not arrogant or Something like that.

I liked the CC too over the EMG's. I think they'd sound a little better with a touch of verb

I THINK THE cc sounds a little "shshshsh" than the emgs.
emgs are more polite in the highs

I didnt really care for the EMG's to much... It kinda had that same tone that every one else has... With the CC/HR, you were able to get tones that were your own, and they STILL rocked!

BTW, I turned my volume down expecting to hear something that would blow my speakers.... Those werent bad recordings at all! I ahve hear MUCH worse from the same site! Good job on laying down the tracks!
