finally got a decent test done at a guitar shop, and i came to a conclusion
i like the sound of an emg 81/60 combo, but i wanna avoid it.... very costly and cliche
so the pumped snarly bottom end of a slap bass, top end scream like a dimebucker but with only mildly scooped mids to keep each note distinct with authority, be it within a chord or not. none of the foggy, fuzzy mid sound that an overdriven walmart special would.... excrete, for lack of a better word:lame:
i know i'm making everyone annoyed with my questions, but i keep asking them cause everyone says something different, from forum to forum and store to store
but anyway now that i got a test i have an idea so yea, please elaborate on this for the sake of me possibly understanding it all one day, and gimme ur 2 cents... i'm poor after christmas haha
