old marshall head

Re: old marshall head

There have been a significant number of intelligent, experienced, polite and well-informed persons on here that are more than willing to help you out.

They've gone to great lengths to try and assist you. They've been polite. They've given direction. They've even dealt with your terrible posting style, god-awful command of the English language and sheer ignorance of amps and tubes.

They're doing you a favor trying to help you out. We didn't start this thread, you did. And whether you figure out what amp it is none of us are likely to have any trouble sleeping at night.

I would suggest if you're interested in retaining any sort of credibility as a member of this forum that you not post again until you can take some pictures or locate a serial number.

The bottom line is that until you get a camera and take some pictures or find the numbers in the specific location given then you're nothing more than a sad little troll treading upon the good nature of those on here.

+1 WELL SAID.

Re: old marshall head

From Wilkipedia:

In Internet terminology, a troll is usually someone who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude, repetitive, offensive, off-topic or otherwise disruptive messages designed intentionally to annoy or antagonize the existing members or alter the flow of discussion, including the personal attack of calling others trolls. Often, trolls assume multiple aliases, or sock puppets.

Don't feed the Troll......:argue:

Re: old marshall head

Just for reference:

PCB is when you have a board where components are soldered on but connected not by wires, but by "printed" connections.
Hand wired is when you have just a plastic board with holes and everything - components and wires - have to be soldered on.

Wow Peter, on behalf of all wankers on this forum, my appologies. You really have a very old and unique piece there. I hope you kept the original dead spiders. To us wankers, it doesn't really matter but there are collectors out there who want it to be as original as possible.

Re: old marshall head

skarekrough i am thankful to all the people who have tried to help.if you look through the thread you will see a couple of posts where people are calling me a liar.a few posts where people try to treat you like an idiot. these are the people i talking about.there is no need for it.i have got help on this forum for the last year and a half and thank those people who helped me.but its hard to sit here and read the posts that there is no need for.

Re: old marshall head

The fact that you have yet to respond with pics or a serial number suggests either:

1. You're a moron
2. You don't actually have the amp

Please prove us wrong. Thank-you.

Re: old marshall head

Check this guy`s previous post`s, he pulled this same stupid **** about a Marshall combo: no camera, no model # no markings. He is both a Moron and a troll! what a sad needy character.

Maybe he just has some amp (maybe non-Marshall) with no S/N and like he said his son has the camera?

Peter

I'd suggest posting as many pictures as possible, from all possible angles, as soon as possible....at least a few anyways.

The folks here are not going to last much longer without pics.

IMHO, it would be very sad for you to go through so many pages of discussing the amp. and end up no further ahead, and it certainly won't help your futures posts.... all this for the sake of not having pics.

I'm trying to be supportive here. Beg, borrow or st...., no just beg or borrow a camera if needed.

Looking forward to pics soon.

Dave

Re: old marshall head

Man you guys are brutal..

agreed that the banter back and forth for 5 or 6 pages was a waste...but whats with the insults? yeesh :smack:

Re: old marshall head

What you wanna do Peter is download the pics into photobucket. Once they're downloaded, you will see three options under each picture. URI, TAG and IMD. Click in the IMD link and then copy the whole link. Paste it into your post. When you review your post, you should see the photograph. If you don't, it's not right.

When you paste it, it should start with

In the preview and the post though, it will show the photo. There should be no link, just a photo.
