are these any good for $200?
I love the real deal axis but they are $700 and up used:gurmpy:

I have one and with a good set up, it's a great axe. I thought the stock pickups were actually pretty good but I replaced them....

It's actually my number one guitar. I am think of redesigning it to be a super Tele.... I have poll thread right below this one...

Re: OLP MM1's? any good?

It's as good as you'd expect compressed sawdust, glue and a photoflame would sound....

my god this is bullS*&T saying this about the OLP's
the body is basswood, just like a ibanez or other import uses.
i think for the $$$ they are great little guitars if you like the EBMM versions
not that these are as good of course but then again they are not costing you $1500 either!:beerchug:

Re: OLP MM1's? any good?

For a guitar in that price range, they´re not half bad....

That said, he price range is by far the biggest limiting factor here.... 700-800$ is still a great deal on a used USA guitar....
