Those Vintage Plus's are fantastic Strats. I like their Tele's as well.

that thing is baller looking except for the ESP logo god ****it. Dave Murray used to play some baller ass ESP strats around the SSOASS tour.

Got two of 'em at my shop. Except for the corny relicing they are absolutely CHOICE.

Nitro, Duncans, vintage look with modern feel...the Strat Fender SHOULD be making and is trying really hard to keep ESP from selling :smoking:

My friend has one of the first run GL-56 strats from ESP. It's a **** fine guitar. The relic isn't my thing, but there's no dismissing the fact the guitar plays and sounds great.

I've read that ESP strats are heavy. I wonder if that helps the tone in some way because I thought traditionally lighter strats sounded better.

I think its the lighting. It almost looks looks a scalloped fretboard as well.

Yeah, Kramer's "Focus" series is all ESP Japan made. Very good guitars, even got high end hardware and usable pickups.

No I've seen one like it before. It's the light and the fretboard is scalloped.

Son of a *****! These things go for $6500! I had MAJOR G.A.S. but now I just have gas. Screw ESP guitars. I can get custom shop Fender for 1/3 that cost. That's crazy pricing! They said it's because of the scalloped fretboard but the pros I know charge only $250-$350 to scallop a fretboard.

That goes against the very essence of the Strat design. you could get a USA Fender and change out every single thing, including the frets for less than half that.

I wouldn't even spend that much on a PRS... well not true really Actually it got me thinking about Fender Custom shop. I'm going to ask for a quote.
