OMG!! This Bandmaster Reverb of mine is............

HUGE!!!!

OK guys that like to make fun of these go ahead. I am flaming myself here a little. 1st of all this thing is in excellent condition for being born October 26, 1973!!

Here is a comparison of the BMR next to my Vibrolux Reverb. I knew they were huge, but not this huge! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

The funniest part is the the cab I picked out before it got here is much smaller than the head! LOL!! And before you freak about me running an old Fender through a Mesa cab know that I have a nice Weber on the way for it!!!

BUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Now do you see why I don't want this head sitting on the cab on stage?!!! LOL!!!

Good grief. That's a combo they forgot to put speakers in to....LOL. It's a beast alright. My back hurts just looking at it....LOL.

It went to Florida and this old Fender beauty came to me from Oklahoma. To me it's a no brainer to sell a new PCB amp to gain an old Fender (especially for the same price!!!)

tis not a RI!! It is a 1975 that has been completely Blackfaced. It's my pride and joy. Its a freaking tone machine!!!

It has something to do with the verb pan and PT being far enough apart.

Interesting ... I guess the PT interferes with the verb tank somehow. Maybe that's why we don't see too many heads with reverb.

Cool amp! I am envious of both your Fenders. All you need now is a tweed Deluxe!

B Bent...I recently bought a '65 Bandmaster head from a forumbro in Alsaka.

I live near Toronto and just tracked it to be about 60 miles away in a postal sorting station. I'm damn near turning blue from holding my breath in anticipation.

Is there a lot of difference in the head you have compared to the one I'm getting? (apart from the reverb..of course). I know that mine will be BF and much smaller/shorter in height, apparently weighs in at 27 pounds or so.

Just wondering how they compare "sonically" ?

which is taking up room in my house, is too damn big to ship anywhere and which i have no use for since main amp is a dual recto :smack: if you feel like driving to LI i'll let it go cheap!!
