ok, i think i've got it down this time. I've come to the realization that there's no practical way to power through a stage in front of a huge audience unless you have a marshall stack...so i'm slashing my Twin idea in favor of these amps-

Ampeg Reverberocket 2x12

Traynor YCV80

The traynor is cheaper than the ampeg, but it does achieve my goal of 80 whopping watts. The ampeg is very sweet sounding and weighs less than the traynor, but costs more.

I've never tried the Traynor, but I was blown away by the Ampeg's sound. I was even gassing on one after I tried it but I went for a high gain head after.
