One of my solids is getting a body transplant

The neck pocket is supposedly "universal" so a P90 with a ring around it should work.. I'm now wondering if I can modify the bridge pocket to take a P90 also, cover up the extra hole with the bridge plate, a pickup ring and a custom scratch plate.

If not it'll get the Quarterpounders..

As much as I love P-90s, I have to say that the Quarter Pound is also a great sounding pup. I wouldn't be inclined to change it.
But, certainly, you can modify the bridge cavity to accept a P-90 if you like. But I don't think a pickup ring by itself will cover all of the existing hole. Is a Tele bridge plate even wide enough to handle a P-90? Of course you can make a custom scratch guard to fit anything you want/need.
By the way, that's a beautiful body.

^ The thought was to use a short(er) Strat type hardtail bridge, then a pickup ring and / or custom pickguard, but you're probably right. My P90 GAS will have to be solved another way.

It's getting SD Vintage Broadcaster Tele pickups and a transplanted Mighty Mite Neck (22 fret, rosewood on yellowed maple, medium frets, Fender splitcshaft tuners, TusqXL nut). It's wired with a Fender 4-way switch, 250k volume and tone, 0.047 uF cap.

A while back I bought a Rosewood Tele (with my wife's approval), then a week later I had my SG on the guitar stand that I had just swapped pickups in and my wife said "Is that your new guitar?" referring to the Tele. At that point I was like, "YES!!" It appears that as long as I never have more than one out on a stand, she'll never know how many.

Back to OP - love the color and top wood on that thinline.

Just waiting for the pickups. Then I will attach the pickguard, fit the strap locks and job done.

I fitted the bridge, neck and tuners today, then took a punt and fitted some strings. I set the Intonation and string heights. It's not at all sharp at the neck, so I don't have to mess with the nut, so far at least.
