I'm ambivalent on the gold hardware, but I love the color. I think models like the Firebird (or your RD, for that matter) lend themselves to colors that might look silly on an LP or SG.

I think its funny that the store first denied they'd lost the pickups. I think they are planning on changing vocation to insurance assessors (universal first step is to deny the claim).
