Wow! The exact same guitar I used to have, except mine was cherry.
Terrific guitars and those pickups are freaking sweet; take your time dialing them a bit. I found I really liked the neck pickup set quite low, it took some boominess off. Split tones are beautiful. Yours might need nut slot adjustments, I never got around that with mine.

PS: to get that guitar to Vintage tonal perfection, place an order with Addiction-FX with the following:
* 1 x Alnico 3 Humbucker Bar Magnet,Polished,2.50" L,Magnetized (for the neck p'up)
* 6 x Humbucker Pickup Pole Screws,1010 Alloy,Nickel Plated (for the neck p'up)
* 12 x Humbucker Slugs,1215 Alloy,Nickel plated,Bullseye finish (for both p'ups)
* 1 x Alnico 2 Humbucker Bar Magnet,Rough,2.50" L,Magnetized
Replace the stock p'up's parts with the newly acquired, wait a week before you make the setup and after another week they'll achieve their peak at best tone. Optimal P'up height for output and Tone is: with the 6th and 1st strings fingered at the last fret, set it to 2.4mm for the bridge p'up, between 3.7mm and 4mm for the neck p'up, (adjust to taste and/or balance). Of course, that's what *I* did with mine, so I can personally vouch for the tonal outcome.
