Re: Opening the keg - The Well Part XXXIII

If you could have one super power what would it be?

Who is your favorite character? (any character is a correct answer)

What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch?

What specs would you be getting on your custom Ran?

The ability of complete invisibility. That would put things in my favor so much.

The Punisher. He is the most brutal without needing any super powers. It used to be Venom until the disappointment in Spiderman 3. What's the point in the scary venom face if you are going to peel it back every time you talk, was the actor trying to milk the face time or what?

I'm actually eating something totally different every day or as often as possible. It tricks the metabolism and gives you another edge to keeping fit.

Can you walk backwards in Adelaide for extended periods while playing Zakk Wylde pinch harmonics?
Haha yes, I've pulled similar stints with a pocket amp and a pointy guitar, wanking away and seeing everyone's reaction. It's funny on trains as well.

5 Favourite guitarists?
5 Favourite bands ?
5 Favourite albums ?
3 Guitars you would like to own (and you'd only have those 3)
One gig you'd like to see the most. players may be dead.
All-star group: 1-3 guitarists, 0-2 keyboard players, a drummer, a bassist, a singer. Again, they don't have to be alive.

1. At the moment - Nocturnal Graves, Meshuggah, Converge, Robotosaurus and Warbringer.

2. This week: Contradictions Collapse - (early) Meshuggah, Hatebreeder - Children of Bodom (and went to see 'em last night) Leviathan - Mastodon, Satan's Cross - Nocturnal Graves, Alice In Hell - Annihilator.

3. Custom shop V (my own body shape, slightly different from a king v or RRV) exactly to my specs, floyd rose, one humbucker in the bridge and a single in the neck, coil tapping and rhythm and lead circuits and some nice aesthetics like binding and cool inlays and such. Next guitar would be a slightly rounder custom design somewhere between a Warlock and an SG with one single P-90 in the bridge, one volume and one tone. Very straight forward. Last guitar would be a traditional USA strat.

4. I would have loved to have seen Pantera and/or Death play at least once.

5. 1990s Phil Anselmo on lead vocals, Kerry King on rhythm guitar, Fredrik Thordenal on rhythm and lead guitar, DD. Verni on bass and Tom Haake on drums, Jens Johansson on keyboard.

Rodney Ansell. He got stranded in the Northen Territory in 1977 in which he survived for two months, making McGuyver look like a fool. He was on a fishing trip (which is a favourite Aussie pastime) with only his boat and his 2 dogs. Somehow it got sunk. Probably by a crocodile. He managed to get his dogs, his rifle and 'this is a' knife and paddle with only one oar up the Fitzmaruice river. He was really dehydrated until he found some fresh water. Then he would just shoot things for food and whatever. Eventually he was discovered and rescued.

Now some time in 1999, warrants were no longer needed for the police to enter ones home so they tried to confiscate his firearm collection. Ansell shot an officer dead attempting to defend himself and the rest of the feds shot HIM dead.

Pretty metal if you ask me...

Interesting story. Why did they want to confiscate his arms?

I think it has something to do with semi-automatic rifles being banned. Apparently he also attacked a family nearby and left a couple of people injured.
