Aged, dingey linoleum yellow, with a touch of lemon pie filling thrown in for good measure.
But if it's a real Super Distortion, it should be cream. Likely the color isn't translating well into the photo because the baseplate looks gold.

yellow..... but depending on monitor settings it could also appear dark yellow or conversely a yellowed cream, depending on what it really is.... the pic is horrible, I´d ask the seller directly
Ksmith: the flourescent ones also dull over the course of 20 years, but I atgree that It´s either yellow or double cream
Zhang, I don´t know about the newer ones, but many of the old ones (actually all I´ve used) had brass baseplates, those would always appear golöd when polished

Its creme allright!
I bought it sunday nite and have been witing for a yellow dimarzio to show up...so I can put it in a yellow guitar......I really expected it to show up as a NEW model SD, and not really be "vintage"...needless to say I was pissed when I opened it to find double creme....then I went back to look and nowhere does he say its yellow.
I sure hope it has vintage "mojo" in it..........

I thought it was Yellow also!! The damn seller should have looked at the pictures and noticed it was Yellow looking and specified that it was Creme.

I was sure it was faded yellow, but now its been said i can see its creme dimly lit and poorly photographed. Bit annoying, most sellers would have said 'The pickup is not as yellow as it appears in the picture' or something along those lines.
