big_black Opaqueologist May 20, 2005 #1 My SG classic has an ABR-1 TOM. It seems more flimsy than the Nashville bridge. I'm wondering why they even use the ABR-1 anymore. Is there a greater advantage to having the posts mounted dirctly into the wood instead of bushings?
