Well I made this od the other day, I have fooled around with this setup before, I wanted something open yet soft and silky, but not wimpy either, just wanted a good allround overdrive based on our HDB's.
And we also made a optical compresser/sustainer while we where at it, it is very vintage'ish, meaning it is slow and spongy
But it is it in a rather pleasing way, well at least to me it is.
The Red Repeat delay needs no extra words....it has become something of a salescow for us now, which is very very nice indeed!
Used my HW-1 strat with SLL-1's and a PGb humbucker.
Started out with the comp prototype, it is a 9v pedal, has three knobs, volume, sustain, compression.
The HDB Special is just laid out like a standart HDB.

it is indeed....still finetuning it, but I think that it is there now!

Cool pedals. I don't know why I love blue LED's so much, but I do.
By the way, I read that GP nonsense. I can see why it'd make you so angry. I've always hated it when they use 2 or 3 different reviewers in the same article. You'll get 2 guys that love everything, even the crap. Then, unluckily for you, the dork that reviews YOUR stuff is a big F'in moron! I think they unfairly made some stupid comments about Carl Martin pedals. Get the dude's address, I'll go paint his car pink!!! ROFL

Yeah i need a delay pedal and a red repeat would my next buy!!!!
And i really understand "now" what you mean with "spongy" heheh.It was allways a "round" meaning for me ,but now it's clear!!!Thanx btw.
