Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

Was that just the straight head and a mic'd cab ? Pretty nice distortion if so

I've had a number of the tiny heads like the Value Jr, the Crate v8 etc and they always left me a bit disapointed as they just don't get the type of distortions I'm after. Don't get me wrong, they sound good, but they just aren't cranked EL34 Marshall tones.

Tiny Terror might be worth looking into if its a bit more "rock"

how well does it take to a pedal as well ? Such as a MI Crunchbox ?

Yeah just a Shure SM57 straight in the center of a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker in a small cabinet.

I added reverb and delay afterwards.

I haven't tried it out with a pedal yet, but I plugged my Boss GT8 into it and the distortion "pedals" from the GT8 sound fine, just like they do plugged into my Fender Prosonic.

I'm trying it out with my band in a couple of days and then I should have the power tubes cooking some more...but at low volume I like it more than my POD or GT8...I mean it's a REAL amp and behaves like one...much more fun to play real tubes that react to your picking than "simulated" tubes. ;-)

Wow, now I really want one of those!!

Too bad they dont have "enough" gain for some folks :biglaugh:

dude your clips allways rock! ;)
That amp sounds thick and agressive..For it's size ,it's a winner!

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

That's awesome ... now I want one.

I'm really surprised how many tones you got out of it. I knew the higher gain stuff would sound great, but I was really impressed with the cleans.

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

Wow, I guess that's why they named it the Tiny Terror! Great clip though..... You've given me GAS now..... Buuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppppppppppppp..... Pardon.

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

I want one so bad... wanna trade it for my Blues Jr. and Lava Box?

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

that would be enough gain for me - sounds GREAT. cool lickage.

Re: Orange Tiny Terror 15watt head

I've just come back from band practice.

I played with a loud rock band which has another guitar player plugged into a 100W Marshall JCM900 with a 4x12 cab and a loud bass and a loud drummer.

This "little toaster" (OK, the guys in the band had a few laughs at first) has PLENTY of volume.

I was plugged into a 4x12 cabinet with Celestion V30's and it rocked!

I had clean and I had crunch and high gain. I had the gain knob only up to about 9 o'clock and the volume knob at 11 o'clock which gave me a nice fat basic cleanish tone that dirtied up when I dug in and then I used my Boss GT8 for stomp box distortion and effects.

NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!:approve:

I'm gigging with this thing next week, for sure...not to talk about how cool it is to pack the little thing in it's bag in the end and just sling it over your shoulder...my back is HAPPY!:)

Thumbs up.
