Hi, I ve been playing my Peavey V-type as my main guitar now for 4 years. Its an amazing guitar and has stood up to many a gig and recording session. The Peavey Licensed Floyd has actually stood up really well to everything I've thrown at it, and its probably the best copy that I've liked. However its now really starting to show signs of wear to the base and to the saddles and I think the guitar deserves an upgrade.
Anyway to cut a long story short, I've measured everything up and an Original Floyd Trem should fit in perfectly. My only question is I really like the tone of my guitar at the moment and I'm wondering what kind of tone/character the guitar will gain>? hopefully it wont become really bright or super trebly
I've also heard so much about the Sustain Blocks which you can buy like the Large Brass Blocks from floydupgrades.com. But the main block i m interested in is the Tungsten sustain block from http://www.prorockgear.com/sustainblock-1.aspx .
Has anyone tried these in their guitars>? any change? The current licensed floyd block is tiny in my guitar.
Anyways Happy New Year :friday:
Cheers
