Ouchee momma!

One of my friends actually owns the Electra brand. He is based in Tampa. Lots of cool stuff. He has all of the old schematics, if you need them.

I was just gonna say....need to call Ben. Then get together and have a beer....

European classical makers have been using cypress sourced from the Mediterranean for a long time. Flattop makers in America have often chosen domestic cypress. No reason it won't work for solid electrics.

Cypress or Sipres? Pronounced the same.

Italian or Mediterranean Cypress is not a true cypress, it's actually in the pine family, more like Spruce I think. I know the grain is probably the closest to Spruce than any other wood I've seen. It is a completely different species from the Cypress in the swamps here.

This is actually a kinda-good idea prior to the advent of on board preamps and emg pickups.

If someone had a long cable run, it would make those pedals sound different. Putting them in the guitar, not the worst idea in the world.

These are rare, and valuable. If you’re in over your head why not let someone who won’t find this a daunting task to repair take it. There’s no reason to try and open the modules, it’s probably the wiring.

Also the logo is two “E”s.
