Out of Room to Intonate G String

My saddle will not go any further to fix a sharp G string. Is there a fix for this?

What guitar is it? On a tune-o-matic bridge you can simply put the saddle in backwards. On most other styles you just have to deal with the intonation being slightly off.

There are also certain nut styles that will help with intonation, but that is a more serious modification that you will have to spend some time to consider before you make a hard decision.

Epi SG

Can I do this without removing string?

Also how do I remove the saddle to flip it around?

I flipped it no problem. Watched a You Tube video. Easy fix.

Also look at the nut too.....if you are trying to get the saddle adjusted to make the first few frets play in tune.

btw - are these new strings, because its a useless endeavour to intonate with old ones.

I had that issue with both my Epiphones. Found out the saddles in a TOM can be flipped. Lived happily ever since.
