im looking to buy a new over drive pedal. I have a few in mind, the fulltone fulldrive 2, cusack screamer, ts-808 or i might mod my ts-9. I have a ts-9 and it sounds great but id like the option to get a little bit more gain and maybe a little but warmer sound. My ts-9 can get a little bit raunchy. I play mostly modern worship stuff at my church like, Michael Gungor, lincoln brewster, Hillsongs United, David Crowder and others

There are some websites that show the TS9 mods,but they really only show the TS9 to 808 mods.....I know of a guy that does killer mods to Tube Screamers and he's right here on our own forum! :laugh2:

Maybe you could do a search under Pedal mods or TS9 Mods?

There are some websites that show the TS9 mods,but they really only show the TS9 to 808 mods.....I know of a guy that does killer mods to Tube Screamers and he's right here on our own forum! :laugh2:

Dunlop Wylde OD! Based on the BOSS SD1 but with more gain & balls. It kills!

i was gonna say, get an SD-1, a tube screamer or a DS-1, and have stratdeluxer97 mod it.. search for his mods on this forum! most of us have had one at some point or another

I had the Zakk Wylde sig MXR OD and didn't care for it at all. It was noisy and quite fizzy in front of my T-verb. However, I recently purchased a Barber Direct Drive and I really enjoy it. Many usable tones. Depending on the song, I use it as a solo boost or straight OD for a little grittier grind. I picked mine up for $90 USD used.

Look into the Hermida overdrive pedals, the Zendrive and Mosferatu are KILLER!
