P-90 Les Paulish options

Re: P-90 Les Paulish options

Many of us LOVE our Gibsons 60 tribute LPs. Under a grand, P90s, LP goodness

Re: P-90 Les Paulish options

There's also the P90 Edwards LP's. The 'bay has a few of these almost all the time.

Re: P-90 Les Paulish options

Hard to go wrong with a Hamer... but those Les Paul 60's tributes seem to fit the bill for you!

Re: P-90 Les Paulish options

There are real LP's for that, LP Junior, etc...

But I'd look at Reverend for something different. Or PRS.

Les Paulish. I like that.

Re: P-90 Les Paulish options

You said you don't want weight relief, but that severely limits your choices, as LPs have been weight relived for quite some time. Most things that are not are either from the Norlin years, or Custom Shop/Historic. Are you at least OK with Swiss cheese holes? If so, it opens up many more possibilities.

Or, alternately, are flat-top Pauls OK (e.g. Juniors and Specials)?

PRS SE Soapbar

Mine kicks ass, solid mahogany, no chambering, and the best P90s I've heard. theodie put Duncans in it, then took them right back out because they couldn't stand up to the PRS P90s.

Light, resonant, etc.

Chambered, though, and with a weight range of just under 7lbs to about 8 1/2. I mean, I'm with you, but if dude is worried about weight relief, I can't imagine he'd want chambered.
