Hi!
I can't seem to balance the volume between these two pickups in my '02 LPS DC. (I got the guitar used with these pups installed).
SP90-1n reads 8.2 ohms, while the Antiquity bridge reads 8.5 ohm dc resistance.
I've tried lowering the neck pickup but that takes it away from its sweet spot. I've tried bringing up the bridge pup but then it sounds too "clangy."
The drop in volume is quite noticeable when switching from neck to bridge, altho the middle setting is quite nice with more influence from the neck.
I've confirmed to buy a used SP90-1b (said to read 9.2 ohms) to replace the Antiquity and it should arrive before the weekend. Is the reading within the norm?
However, is there something else I could have tried to achieve better volume balance (besides lowering the neck vol pot)? Have I missed something?
Jaime
