P-Rails as P-90 Only

Looking for advice on how to wire a P-Rails so that it's working as a P-90 only. I assume you would solder the two blade wires together and the remaining two would be the hot and ground for the P-90, but I don't know which colors go with which coil.
Thanks in advance!

Just use the hot and ground conductors for the P90 coil plus the bare grounding wire.

Leave the hot and ground conductors for the blade coil unstripped and/or insulated. Do not connect them to anything.

That makes sense. Unfortunately I don't know which colors go to which coils.

Why would you do that? Isn't that like buying a humbucker and only using one coil? Why didn't you just buy a Phat Cat?
I'm not trying to bust your balls or anything, just curious.

I was thinking the same thing. Phats Cats would seem more suitable...

I figured someone would ask that question! I already have a P-Rail and would like to try it in the neck of a G&L ASAT Bluesboy. Since the P90 mode would be the most commonly used, I want to wire that way first to make sure it will indeed be the right pickup for this guitar. If that goes well then I 'll go through the work of adding the push/pull pots to get the other combinations.

Btw, after finding some of Hermitico's P-Rails diagrams I can see the red and green are the P90, black and white the blade.
