P-Rails in a Gibson Flying V?

Re: P-Rails in a Gibson Flying V?

Hi. If you mount the P-Rails pickups through Triple Shot surrounds, these will give you all of the coil permutations. The two conductor + shield output cabling from the Triple Shots to the control pots will comply with the SD schematic.

that, or you could set up the volume push pulls to do separate splits for the p-90s and the tone to split to the rails, so you could have series/cut/parallel. that'd be the best way to do it imo, as most people want it for the humbucker and p-90 tones first, rail tone second.
