P-Rails in a Mustang?

Am I nuts? Anybody figure a way to maintain the polarity switching setup using the standard on/off/on Mustang switches and 2 push/pull pots?

Not me!

I'm trying to keep from routing her out any more (someone long ago had carved room for HB's)...she's late 60's, Lake placid blue (green really) and I bet would look real sexy sexy with some creamy p-rails!

Re: P-Rails in a Mustang?

Simplest answer is to mount the P-Rails in Triple Shot humbucker surrounds. The TS micro switches take care of all the coil switching options. You connect the output of each P-Rail to the push switch for its respective position.

If the push switches are on/off/on, you can use one of the switches to set one pickup in reverse phase to the other. You could even alter the second on/off/on push switch so as to connect the two P-Rails in either parallel (normal) or in series.
