P-Rails vs. P-Rails HOT

Re: P-Rails vs. P-Rails HOT

I hate resurrecting as well but hate making new threads when i see old ones that are relevant.

Do they still make both prails? When i go to the Seymour Duncan site, i see a hot set listed only.

Re: P-Rails vs. P-Rails HOT

I see the PRails Set (without the tripleshots) but just the one set. I was expecting to see 2 sets, like alnico5 and alnico3 or something saying a hot set and a regular set.

I like the idea of these, but looking for something warm and vintage as possible.

Re: P-Rails vs. P-Rails HOT

Well, they might not be available in a set, but they can be bought separately. The Hot version is certainly warmer.

Re: P-Rails vs. P-Rails HOT

My fav guitar sound is Tom Scholz's from Boston, which I think was a '57 lead and P90 neck? and a lot of amp/pedal/processing stuff that I'll never have.

These looked like they'd be pretty versatile and have some good options/combos including humbucker lead, P90 neck... that's sorta what I'm after.

Though, those Slash humbuckers are pretty nice as well.

I have an Agile AL-2000, very nice guitar... debating if worth replacing the pickups or not. Expensive decision if I don't like them. :D
