P-Rails Wiring Question

Hey, I'm new here. I'm a complete newbie at wiring, electronics, etc. But here's the thing: I have no good guitar techs where I live, so I need to tell anyone who I'm going to give my guitar to EXACTLY what to do. So, my question is: Other than the 2 push pull option 2 on the site, is there anyway to get parallel, p-90 and single coil tones out of the P-Rails? I want to put them into a gibson SG faded.

The other option to using push/pull pots is to use mini-toggle switches, which would involve drilling into the guitar (if it doesn't have them already).

If you only want parallel/p-90/rail options then use an on/on/on 3 position mini-switch. The standard 3-way Gibson type pick-up selector could work in this situation. If you don't want to drill into the guitar, it might be possible to replace one of the potentiometers (either a volume or a tone) with the switch. The hole would require a little less modification than drilling and trying to fit more stuff into the control cavity.

I guess it depends on what you can or can't live without in terms of the control layout.

If it was an Epiphone SG, I'd say convert it to master vol/master tone, and use the two left over holes for the switches. But you probaly don't want to do that with a Gibby faded SG. I wouldn't drill holes either. The single vol/tone is, at least, undo-able.

I don't see many other options than the push-pulls if you want to keep the stock appearance.
