P90 between two Pearly Gates on a Strat

Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has tried, or has an opinion on the PGn P-90 PGb setup on a strat?
Mine is a USACG body, mahogany with a maple cap, swimming pool route.
Would there be a better middle pickup choice? Going for a blues-rock sound.
Also, how hot of a P-90 would be best?

Yes, a P90 in the middle gets along extremely well with PAFs for blues rock.

P90 in the middle with whatever else kind of guitar/pickups is a winning combination for me. My favorite teles that I have built have a P90s in the middle.
