P90 Choices~

Sorry if i posted twice:

SDS-1 woes aside, which P90's do folks around here like for bridge & neck in a rosewood neck Strat with new Blender Pot harness. Since my middle SDS1 is kinda hot @ 8.6k, I'm thinking of some Vintage SD's, or some Hot Toneriders my pal raves about. Fralin, Antiquities & Lollars are probably only a little bit better but at a big price diff. I'm leaning towards SD Vintage P90's, but Antiquities are hard to rule out! I don't want anything too dark & murky.... not too hot & muddy. But I'm open to suggestions & eager to hear from ya'll.
Thanks

Hey Zoro,
I was gonna ask for some further clarification and give you some great ideas, but then I thought..."why bother, by the time i've posted you probably will have bought the ones you want and won't return to your post to read any suggestions or answer any questions we may have anyway".

Re: P90 Choices~

Not a damn thing wrong, and a lot of things right with a Duncan Vintage P-90 or plain old stock Gibson P-90

Hey GUITARDOC... That's just not true. One time i didn't return to a post about some screws. I always listen, learn & respond in kind. So, please, do tell!

So, is this for the same guitar that you've started the 4 or 5 other threads about good p90's for???

I’m pissed off that I can’t ”like” this post 1000 times.

Christ.....just a little patience & advice for the learning disabled! That big of an issue for you guys who I look up to for info?

Re: P90 Choices~

Sorry if we offended you.

Common courtesy and forum ethics would dictate that you don't just leave a thread hanging that you started. It's a waste of our time when we expend effort and thought into trying to help someone and they're not even appreciative enough to reply, let alone thank us for our help. Capisce?

I totally agree with you Doc....... Sometimes, life just gets in the way. Everything i have ever benefited from by heeding advice from my fellow board members, has been highly appreciated, & i thank you all, & i will share my 1st ever DIY pickguard with Blender harness with you all when I'm done!! Again, thank you everyone!

Re: P90 Choices~

P90's for a Stratocaster, I really like the Mojotone Knockout Strat pickups. Really close to P90 tone and they drop right in standard Stratocaster guards
