the classic plus is a great pickup... although I believe some of the one pickup Cabronitas used a Powertron

and as mentioned, check TV Jones for his wiring ... I believe the one you want is the Model 10

I put in a bid on a powertron ...hopefully it shall be mine in a day or two. . even if it is gold...heh. any tips for getting the gold off a pickup safely?

here's an update on how its going. in this pic I have the gretsch pup in there but it has been sold.

I used brasso to try and shine a gold pickup, it did shine the pickup but took all the gold plating off too.

It has about 4 coats of Cordovan transtint on it . then about 13 coats of tru oil
